The Sky!
Every since I was little I have always been super into the universe and the stars and planets. I know constellations and I remember in 7th grade I would sneak out of the house in the middle of the night to lay on the driveway and look at the stars. They have always fascinated me and they give a sense of peace when you really take the time to look at them.
I also love sunsets and sunrises, when I drove to school in high school, id always see the sunrise in the east and it put me in such a good mood and ready to take on the day. Id do the same driving home from work with the sunsets. They are never the same from day to day and even if a house or tree or hill is blocking the sun itself, the colors and clouds in the sky are just as gorgeous.
I unfortunately dont wake up early enough to see the sunrise here at NCC, and sometimes im too busy or I just miss the sunsets. Its also pretty cold out now so I dont wanna make the long and cold trek outside for it. I remember, in the second month or so of college me and some friends drive to the lakefront part of Chicago and watched the sun rise over the river with the skyline in the background. It was so pretty. I am looking forward to being back in Kansas City with the accessable sunsets and stars!
