Kansas City!

Moving is something I always planned to do after I graduated high school or college, however, what I did not anticipate is missing home.  Kansas City is the home of cows, bbq, fountains, the Chiefs, the Royals, and some other less relevant sports teams.  It is on the edge of the Missouri-Kansas state line, and many people think that because it is called Kansas City, it is in Kansas.  However, it is not, back in the day, Kansas City MO was the place to be, and it was so popular that Kansas got jealous and made their side of the state line Kansas City too. Don't let that fool you, though, Kansas City Missouri is so much better!

I like Illinois a lot and while it is similar in the Midwest sense to Kansas City, it was still a big change to come here.  I love how close it is to Chicago and how walkable the area is.  I do not regret moving out of Missouri for college, but I do miss my friends and family quite a bit. This change is scenery has inspired me to look into study abroad to continue my interest in travel and see new places outside of the US.

Some very distinct differences between Kansas City and Naperville is the amount of sidewalks and cross walks there are, Naperville, and almost any other area I have been to around here is much more walkable then even the downtown of Kansas City.  It is also a lot safer here in Naperville which i'm sure my parents appreciate.  It is a super cute area and i'

m so happy I could come here and see it.
