Fav Pic From Smartphone

 

The summer after my sophomore year I got grounded, part of my punishment was that I had to get a job because I had "too much free time." My mom picked out a Mexican restaurant about 5 minutes from our house and had me apply there.  I did, and got a job as a host.  Two years later I was still working there, but I worked my way up from hosting, to carryout orders, to serving. 

 This picture is one of my favorites because it reminds me of the job I love so much, my friend Mawadah took the photo when we had a work photoshoot with the blow up Dos Equis bottle and the life sized poster of Dwayne Johnson (not pictured).  The main focal point of this photo is me holding the bottle.  It is taken in a .5 lense so that is why the angles are kind of weird, and the focal point is so close to the camera. The photo is slightly blurry because we had to sneak the photoshoot because we were supposed to be working, and had to be fast so our manager didn't see. The parts of the photo that make it a less than optional picture, (the blurriness, the dark background and off centered-ness) are reflections of the memories surrounding the taking of the photo. The lighting is awful in the picture and is not the best quality, which I like because I think it reflects the restaurant; it wasn't the best, but it was super fun and a good place to work.
